Middlesex 31

2009 Chardonnay Nose: Very intense, vibrant and peachy fruit nose with fresh butterscotch and vanilla oak aromas overlaid.
Palate: A rich, full-bodied palate with a seductive creamy texture. Vibrant mouth-filling peach, ripe melon and butterscotch flavours of very rich intensity fill the mid-palate. Well integrated oak compliments the intense fruit flavours. A creamy mouth feel balances with soft acid to support these flavours which persist on a satisfying finish of very good length.

This multiple award winner still turns heads. It spent ten months in French oak before bottling, and has aromas of peach, melon, butterscotch and dried fig. The palate is rewarding and mouth filling flavours of peach, melon and hints of citrus can be found, along with buttery vanilla and tasty oak. A balanced palate with a harmonious arrangement between fruit and oak adds to the long, warm finish of this wine.

Awards include the Best Wine of Show, Best White Wine and a Gold Medal for chardonnay at the RSM Bird Cameron Timber Towns Regional Wine Show.
